How My Classes Work
Why are you taking classes, and what are your language goals?That will always be my first question to you.Based on your answer, I will customize a course to maximize your confidence in your particular area of interest. We will do a range of activities to make you more confident in the language.I will focus on correcting your mistakes, increasing your vocabulary, improving your accent, turning bad habits into good ones, and generally making you more fluent in the target language.Who are my students?Mostly individuals at a higher level of English (B1+) who are either in the professional world already or are planning to be. In some cases, companies pay for my classes (I can invoice) and in others, individuals pay for classes themselves.What will we do?Meet 1 - 3 times per week online via Google Meet, go through a quick warmup, jump into relevant materials, practice new vocabulary and grammar items, set a short homework assignment.I will take notes in an ongoing Google Doc which you can access at any time. In the doc, I will note common mistakes and corrections, write new vocabulary and examples, and much more. You can also do homework right in this document.

Let's practice real life situations. Whether you plan on travelling and want to be confident when renting a car or ordering at a restaurant, or you need to be more active in business meetings with English clients or coworkers, we will practice what you need most.Example below:

We watch short movie clips, TED talks, and other videos (normally 3 to 5 minutes) and talk through the vocab used, answer comprehension questions, and discuss the topic further.

I will always customize the class to your needs and will keep it interesting and switching up so that you improve your complete language fluency. There are many activities we can do to reach our goals.

$40 - $50 per student per 60 minutes
Exact price depends on several factors, including:
- if you want the class customized to your industry / company
- how many classes are booked at a time
- if classes are for an individual or a group

- Once per month at the end of the month after counting all classes
- In advance as part of a package of 10+ classes with a 10% discountPrices and Currencies:
Prices are negotiable to some extent, depending on the type of class (General English or Business English) and number of students (Individual or Group Classes available)
I can accept a number of different currencies, including USD, PLN, EUR, AED, CHF, SAR, GBP, JPY, and more.Payment Methods:
Payment can be made via PayPal, Revolut, or by bank transfer to an IBAN.
No refunds available, however classes may be rescheduled if communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
About Me
I grew up in Michigan and Ohio in the United States. I graduated from St. John's Jesuit High School in 2014 and from the University of Dayton in 2018 and again in 2019 with an MBA. Immediately after graduating, I moved to Spain and began teaching English. In 2.5 years in Spain I achieved Spanish fluency. I moved to Germany in 2022, where I lived for 1.5 years and also achieved German fluency. I moved to Poland in 2024, where I currently reside and work as a full-time languages teacher, both online and in-person. I started P. City English in 2024 as a way to teach my method directly to students.In my free time I like exploring new cultures, playing hockey, watching movies, reading books, and hiking.I have a passion for language and culture. I understand the value of improving language skills. I want to help you on your language-learning journey.
